Next week in Math!!!

Class 1 will continue working on fractions. On Tuesday we will begin working with improper fractions and mixed numbers. If time allows, we will begin adding and subtracting fractions. Class 2 will begin their fractions unit. We will begin by working on finding equivalent fractions using models and by multiplying and dividing the numerator and denominator by the same number.
Class 3 will finish up their unit on operations and algebraic thinking. We will have a test on Thursday – please be on the lookout for a review sheet. This is a very big test! All classes will continue to participate in Math Marathons on Fridays. Please help your child by reviewing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills at home. The more we practice, the better we are! J
