Next week in Math...

Next week we will be covering our Geometry unit.  We will begin working on identifying and measuring angles and we will also be reviewing two-dimensional shapes and symmetry.

2012 Glasgow Lady Scotties

Basketball Camp

Who: Any 2nd – 6th Grade Girl

What: Receiving quality instruction on the fundamentals of basketball

When: May 1-3 from 3:30-5:30

Where: Glasgow Middle School

(A representative from the girl’s basketball team will be at Highland in the afternoon to walk the girls to the middle school. Pick-up will be at the middle school at 5:30)

***A form was sent home with every 4th grade girl. If you need an additional form, please let us know. The cost of the camp is $25 which includes a commemorative t-shirt. ***

Next week in Math

Class 1 and 2 will continue working on the metric system. After that we will begin working on area and perimeter and line plots.

Class 3 will begin working on customary units of measurement. We will start with units of length, then move on to units of capacity and weight.
